Today I’m going to be reviewing TGW. If you have any experiences, positive or negative that you’d like to share with other readers, please feel free to comment below. Where possible mention specifics rather than just posting abuse or praise.
Strengths
Ease Of navigation – I always manage find what I am looking for quite quickly on this site. They have seven main categories listed across the top and then after clicking on one of these a drop down menu appears with many more sub-categories.
From there it is quite easy to further narrow down your selections. You also have the option of typing exactly what you are looking for into a search bar which will then produce the related results.
30 Day Playability Guarantee – If you are at all unhappy with the performance of your equipment in the first 30 days you can return it for a full refund in the form of a store credit. This is a great offer, with few of the online stores offering this. This is not available on all products, only thoses accordingly marked.
Weaknesses
Customer Service – I have read some absolutely scathing reviews about the lack of customer service with this website. Much of this comes from difficulties expericed by customers when attempting to return/exchange equipment.
General Info
Sales Tax – applies to gear shipped to KS & IN.
Shipping – currently flat rate of $5.99
Dedicated Sections – have sections for juniors, women and left handers. No section for seniors.
Conclusion
The prices and the range are good. They have a clearance section and site navigation is quite simple.
I think the key with this site is making sure you know exactly what you want, and that you do not accidentally order the wrong thing. This will minimize the chance that you will need to return the purchase, which is where the major weaknes of this site seems to be.
